Born and raised Queens, NY rapper Otis Clapp is no newcomer to the hip hop scene, and he’s no stranger to hard work either. With a catalog of music that keeps growing, Otis has Hot97 spins, as well as overseas radio play in Greece, Denmark, Austria and France under his belt. Blog posts on sites such as 2dopeboyz, Elektro Magazine, URB.com, Kevin Nottingham and was named Allhiphop.com‘s Top 25 underground artists of 20ll, and Top 50 of 2012.
Otis Clapp has rocked some of the most important venues in NYC including CBGB’s, Stage 48, The Gramercy Theatre, Webster Hall, South Paw, The Knitting Factory, and Don Hills. He’s rocked various venues all over the east coast as well. He’s opened up for a wide range of acts from Diplo and Afrojack to Action Bronson, Fred Da Godson, and Homeboy Sandman. So as Otis once stated:
“The sky aint the limit,it’s only the first stop”.
